US TV host Ellen DeGeneres brutally issued James Corden with a withering put-down when she appeared on his TV show in 2016.
The unearthed clip has come to light amid rumours that Corden is in talks to replace DeGeneres after she was hit with a string of bullying claims.
According to reports, Ellen helped “enable a toxic work culture” on her uber-successful chat show.
In the unearthed clip, James can be seen chatting to Ellen and fellow guest actor Patrick Wilson.
After highlighting that the stars are both from the South of America, Corden then asked if they can tell him any favourite or funny expressions from that part of the world.

After Ellen joked her’s was: “Can I have some more alcohol?,” Patrick went on to reveal how his grandfather once gave a savage description of his secondary school girlfriend.
James replied: That’s the stuff, that’s the stuff I’m talking about, because I met someone from the South.
“She came up [as]… I was trying to park in a space and couldn’t get it, she said ‘Oh darling, bless your heart!’
“And I thought, Oh that’s the nicest expression you could ever have’.”
