Emmerdale ‘s Isabel Hodgins celebrated a heartwarming family milestone over the weekend, as her big brother Adam Hodgins turned 30.
The 26-year-old soap star, who plays Victoria Sugden in the Dales, marked the occasion with a sweet tribute to her bro, complete with throwback photos and a sentimental caption.
Isabel and Adam grew up in Eccles, just outside Manchester, with her older brother teaching her everything from how to play guitar, to which bands to listen to.
Sharing some snaps from their childhood, the duo could be seen in matching school uniforms, only to grow up into adult versions of themselves in heartwarming pics from the family photo album.
The photos caught fans’ attention, as they spotted the uncanny resemblance between the pair, with their dark hair and good looks.

In her caption, Isabel wrote: “Happy 30th to my big brother Adam!”
Reflecting on their childhood, she added: “Who did big brother things like attempted to teach me how to play the drums, introduced me to guitar hero, educated me about bands like slipknot, Metallica and Orange Goblin – not that it stuck I’m a pop girl through and through.”
The Emmerdale star revealed even Adam helped her with some handiwork when she moved into her first home, having risen to fame on the cast of the ITV soap in 2006.

She continued: “Then when I bought my place did the heavy lifting and ripped up floor boards for me. You will always be the best cook ever! I love you very much.”
Taking to the comment section below, Isabel’s 126,000 followers were quick to highlight the similarities between the pair, while wishing Adam a happy birthday.
One said: “God you are so alike.”
“What a cute pair u were so alike have a great 30th adam,” added a second.
And a third chimed: “I genuinely thought that was you with a snap chat filter making you look like a bloke! You are the spit of each other x”
Having appeared on TV since the age of 12, family is hugely important for Isabel, who prefers to keep a low-profile off-screen.
In a candid interview with Mirror Online last year, she explained she didn’t have time for a relationship while juggling both work and family commitments.
She said: “But to be fair I haven’t got time for a relationship with work, my dog, going back to Manchester to see my family. I am so busy.
“I feel like being on my own and being single, I am just working out who I am.”
