Emmerdale’s Pierce Harris (Jonathan Wrather) has made it very clear since he arrived back in the village that he wants ex wife Rhona Goskirk (Zoe Henry) back.
The soap villain gave the clearest clue yet that he intends to kill Vanessa Woodfield (Michelle Hardwick) during the recent visit to the Dales.
Pierce, who has tied up tied up and gagged in Laurel Thomas’ (Charlotte Bellamy) house so she doesn’t threaten this plan to reunite with Rhona.
During Friday night’s episode of the ITV show, the village psychopath told her chillingly: “All good things must come to an end.”
Just before the end credits rolled, Pierce outlined his evil plan to win back Rhona after getting out of prison.

Pierce encouraged Vanesa to have some water, saying: “Just a little sip. You’re not eaten or drunk anything.
“Sick woman like you, you need to take care of yourself.”
Vanessa replied: “You think i’m going to let you sedate me?”
He asked: “Why would I do that? Trust me, i’m going to need you at your very perkiest best.”
Vanessa questioned: “You say you want me to persuade Rhona to take you back. How can I do that?”

Pierce shot back: “You’ll find out soon enough, and the good news is, your ordeal will be over. Rhona’s called in the police.
“Must have been Paddy winding her up, making her paranoid. She has got everything to look forward to.
“Now the police are on my case, it changes everything. The clock is ticking Vanessa. There was me hoping that we could spend more time together. Oh well. All good things must come to an end.
“Very soon I’ll have Rhona back, you’ll have served your purpose and your work here will be done.”
Fans of the ITV soap took to their keyboards to react to his chilling words.
One Emmerdale viewer said: “Pierce is vile.”
A second added: “Whoever this Pierce lad is on Emmerdale, he’s one sadistic individual.”
Another fan penned: “I can’t stand Pierce.”
Will Vanessa manage to get out alive?
