Broadcasting legend Fearne Cotton has broken her silence following Holly Willoughby’s decision to step away from Celebrity Juice.
Holly, 39, yesterday revealed that she decided to quit the ITV2 hit show after 12 years as team captain.
Announcing the news to her 6.6 million Instagram followers, Holly shared a collage of her best moments from the show with Keith Lemon, including a throwback with Fearne and Lemon.
Her statement read: “Thank you @celebjuiceofficial for 12 years of fantastic chaos… I can’t quite believe what we’ve done and how quick that time has gone. Thank you to you all for watching… we’ve always had the loudest and best audiences.
“Also a huge thank you to @itv2 for believing in the show in the first place and for all of your support… Over the years the production team has changed, however to anyone lucky enough to have worked on the show, they will know that we really do have the best time, it’s never felt like work and always been to me like a night out…”

She added: “All good things must come to an end and nothing lasts forever… It’s time for me to hand over my team captain seat to some lucky lucky person…”
Following Holly’s lengthy statement on Instagram about why she was leaving, Fearne posted a message of support.
While Fearne did not speak out about Holly’s exit, she offered her support by commenting a string of love hearts.

Holly’s exit comes just two years after her best pal and BBC Radio host Fearne Cotton’s decision to wave goodbye to the wild show, which is hosted by Keith Lemon.
Cotton left the ITV2 show to focus on different ventures after the growing success of her wellness brand, Happy Place.
Meanwhile, Leeds-lad Keith Lemon commented on the post: “I’m in tears.”

Before sharing his own post reading: “Goodbye @hollywilloughby
“I’ve had a lovely time working with you. You are the best! I hope I’m lucky enough to work with you again one day.
“If I don’t see ya through the week I’ll see ya through the window. Big hugs KL x”
Holly’s replacement has not yet been announced but it appears Kelly Brook is in the running.
Willoughby’s final scenes have already been filmed and will be broadcast later in the series.
