In the years that followed, Image went on to perform with a number of other acts, including the Whorelords, Human Buffet, Psycho Daisies, The Hooples, Jersey Trash, and The Hollywood 77’s.

He later performed with The Undead until the early noughties, the NYC horror punk band formed in 1980.

In a 2017 interview with Consequence of Sound, Image opened up about his early inspirations in music, motivating his decades-long career as a drummer.

He said: “I always banged on my table at home. I didn’t have a drumset. I lived in an apartment. I used to bang on my bed.

“I just used to listen to records. Listen to what drummers would do and that’s how I did stuff.”
