With the 72nd annual Emmy Awards being held virtually, host Jimmy Kimmel is delivering the prestigious ceremony live from an empty Staples Centre in Los Angeles.
In light of the coronavirus pandemic, Kimmel joked as he welcomed viewers to the “pandemmys”.
Television royalty dressed up and dressed down for the event as they sit in anticipation at home, hoping to bag a prize.
Nominees were sent state of the art cameras, ring lights and boom mics in order to make sure the event looks as professional as possible.
