Good Morning Britain presenters Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid came to blows on the ITV show today.
Piers rip at David and Victoria Beckham for making the taxpayer ‘fund their loss-making vanity project’ in a brutal live TV rant.
However, Susanna spoke out to defend Spice Girls star Victoria, saying Piers’ attack against her could be ‘personal’.
Piers couldn’t hide his anger after it was revealed over the weekend that Victoria Beckham has decided to furlough 30 of her staff at her fashion brand at the cost of the British tax payer.
The multimillionaire has decided to ask the government to pay 80% of her staff’s salaries via the scheme and will only stump up 20% in return.
The Beckham’s are understood to be worth a staggering £340million.

Piers mocked ‘pampered prima donna’ Victoria by saying: “How nice it was at the weekend, with all the selfless acts, to hear Victoria Beckham is furloughing 30 staff of her failing business.
“Lost money year after year. Been bailed out by her famously rich husband David Beckham.”
He added: “Sorry, this furlough scheme was not for prima donna millionaires like you.

“Running a vanity project like her fashion business that makes no money.”
Turning to Susanna Reid, who was trying to defend Posh Spice, Piers continued: “You the taxpayer are now funding a loss making vanity project for David and Victoria Beckham.
“Do you feel good about that?”

Speculating about why Piers is go annoyed, Susanna probed: “I wonder whether it personal against Victoria Beckham rather than a British business?”
Susanna also asked what the alternative to the furlough scheme was and pointed out that Victoria is reportedly forgoing her own salary and donating to food banks.
A quick look at social media showed that most of the GMB viewers were siding with Piers Morgan over VB’s actions though.
One fan tweeted: “Susanna’s nonsense just makes Piers look good. Susanna is possibly worse than Piers, which is saying something.”
Another added: “Sorry Susanna but I agree with Piers Morgan it’s a complete joke that she is doing that.
“Nurseries have now been told they don’t qualify for the furlough scheme so thousands will end up closing.”
Good Morning Britain airs weekdays on ITV at 6am
