Good Morning Britain presenter Ranvir Singh was quick to shut down a nasty troll on Twitter this week, after he made a racist remark on the online platform.
The user had written the tweet as the 43-year-old appeared on Monday morning’s GMB alongside Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid.
Sharing the tweet, which was penned by a user named “Mark,” Ranvir refused to stoop to his level.
Instead, she simply responded: “Wow. On every level, a bizarre insight into how someone’s mind works at 6am on a Monday morning..
“Have a good week Mark.”

As soon as Ranvir, who is due to take part in the upcoming season of Strictly, shared the response, her fans rushed to her defence with a stream of outraged messages.
One furious fan wrote: “What an awful thing to say! Ignore him, Ranvir, you look great.”
Another, praising Ranvir’s decorum, added: “Very dignified response Ranvir ( a stupid and unnecessary comment, but you replied to it beautifully) x”

And a third penned: “What is wrong with people…Not that you need any approval from anyone Ranvir.
“You look fab and do a b****y great job for us. (Can’t wait for SCD, we love our winter Saturday & Sunday nights in, roast dinner and a glass of red).”
The ITV news anchor did not reply to any of the comments, as her 75,200 Twitter followers made it clear they wouldn’t tolerate further online trolling.
Much to her fans’ delight, Ranvir is joining a cast of 11 other celebs in this year’s Strictly, lacing up her dancing shoes as she takes to the ballroom with a professional partner.
Discussing her appearance on the show, she joked: “The initial feeling of being confirmed for Strictly is one of complete terror.
“It feels like embarking on a rollercoaster, where you really want to do it but you are equally scared.
“Hopefully after the first dance I will feel exhilarated rather than sick!”
Other famous faces competing in the BBC dance competition include Olympic champion Nicola Adams, Made In Chelsea’s Jamie Laing and EastEnders actress Maisie Smith.
