Gordon Ramsay recently got his Cornish pad fitted with a swish glass swimming pool – and he’s taking every opportunity to show it off.
The 53-year-old celeb chef took to Instagram stories yesterday afternoon to capture the view from his £4.4m Cornwall home, panning over the blue pool waters to the horizon beyond.
Complete with wood panelling and glass balconies, the sprawling property looks out at the white sands of the nearby Camel estuary.
Clearly thrilled with the view, Gordon captured the video with “wow,” making sure the sparkling pool waters ended up in the shot.
Hemmed in by concrete walls, the far end of the pool features a giant glass window, offering swimmers a glimpse of the rolling green hills and crashing waves.
He added: “Now that is what I call a August bank holiday, look at that! Beautiful.”

It isn’t just the breathtaking coastal views of Cornwall that have captured Gordon’s attention – he has discovered some delicious local foodie hotspots nearby.
Enjoying his Bank Holiday weekend, he remarked: “Porthilly beach which has some of the most delicious oysters and mussels anywhere in the world.
“Simply stunning. How could you not love Cornwall?”

Gordon and his wife Tana headed out to the luxurious property with their children – Meghan, 21, Jack and Holly, 20, Tilly, 18 and Oscar, one – before the lockdown restrictions were put in place.
Unfortunately, the Hell’s Kitchen star was met by controversy as soon as he arrived in the rural idyll earlier this year, with locals taking to social media to vent.
One fumed: “Don’t you realise that by doing that you’ve possibly brought the virus with you and because Cornwall is not your main residence, if you and your family get sick you will place yet more strain on an already fragile infrastructure.

“I’m reporting you to the police. What you’ve done is against the law and I hope they force you back to London.”
Others criticised Gordon for cycling around the countryside, suggesting he was flouting lockdown restrictions.
As one local griped over social media: “Get yourself back in the house, what the f**k.”
Thankfully, tensions appear to have eased since, as Gordon and his family enjoy the local sites from the glamorous seaside property in the Rock.
