This Morning fans were surprised to see Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield were missing from the ITV show on Monday, having taken some time off.
Instead, hosts Ruth Langsford and her hubby Eamonn Holmes took over, hosting interviews and health segments from the ITV studios.
With a hectic schedule, Holly and Phil are taking some well-deserved time off during the half-term break.
The presenting duo confirmed their temporary exit last week, with Holly revealing she plans to read Phil’s new autobiography – titled Life’s What You Make It – during the annual leave period.
She said: “It’s really hard in my household to sit down and actually read a book but half term next week this is my plan.”

Watching from home this morning, ITV fans were delighted to see Ruth and Eamonn on their screens, as they took to their keyboards to welcome the temporary replacements to the show.
Replying to Ruth’s Insta post, one This Morning fan wrote: “Awww!! Love you guys in this morning.”

“Great. You never know what Eamonn is going to say next..love it,” exclaimed another.
And a third penned: “Brilliant looking forward to this half term”
Phil and Holly aren’t the only presenters enjoying some time off this week – Susanna Reid and Piers Morgan have stepped down from GMB hosting duties for two weeks.
In their place this morning, Kate Garraway and Ranvir Singh filled in, as viewers wondered where Piers and Susanna had disappeared to.
However, Piers cleared things up on October 14, telling viewers: “We’ve got half term off, really exciting, I’m going to move from the sofa downstairs to upstairs for my holiday.”
And Susanna joked: “You get a two-week circuit breaker from us.”
This Morning airs on weekdays at 10am on ITV.
