Simon Cowell has previously poked fun at himself and joked that he is “clumsy” and over the years he’s had a few horrific accidents.
His latest occurred last night as his representative confirmed that star “broke his back” after falling from his bike and was awaiting an emergency operation.
But it’s not the X Factor and Britain’s Got Talent’s judge first fall.
He also suffered a nasty fall down his stairs which made him shake-up and change his life, Simon says.
The star has also avoided being hit with knives on live TV, so there’s that…
Here are Simon’s confirmed and reported injuries over the years.

Simon hit headlines today when it was claimed that the star had injured his back after coming off an electric bike in Malibu.
He was rushed to hospital and a spokesperson for the star said that he’s in “safe hands” and is awaiting an operation.
A representative of Simon’s revealed: “Simon had a fall from his bike on Saturday afternoon whilst testing his new electric bike in the courtyard at his house in Malibu with his family.”
In a later update, they added: “He hurt his back and was taken to the hospital.
“He’s doing fine, he’s under observation and is in the best possible hands.”
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Simon fell off the bike and was rushed to hospital last night (Los Angeles time).
While sources initially claimed Simon was doing “fine,” it was later alleged the Britain’s Got Talent star had broken his back.
The source later added: “Simon has broken his back and will be having surgery this evening.”

However, sadly Simon’s fall last night isn’t the first horror incident he’s experienced in the last few years.
In 2017 the music mogul vowed to embark on a heartier lifestyle after he fell down his stairs.
The ITV star had to be stretchered out of his London home by paramedics after he fell down the stairs on the way to the kitchen during the early hours of the morning.
Simon described the horrifying incident as a “wake up call” that made him change his ways and take up exercise.
He told The Sun at the time: “They think I fainted because I had low blood pressure and so I have got to take really good care of myself to sort that out.
“I’m OK now. In a way, it was a wake-up call. It wasn’t the end of the world – but a bit embarrassing.
“If I’m honest with you, I was probably over-tired.”
After making a full recovery, the father-of-one was seen cycling round the streets of LA on one of his two 28mph battery powered bikes he bought to kick-start his fitness regime.
Simon reportedly spent £2,000 on each bike, leaving one in London and taking the other to his second home in the USA.
His clumsy facial injuries

Over the years – decades – Simon has appeared on TV there has been a few occasions where he was captured on camera sporting facial injuries.
He’s well-known for being clumsy and has even poked fun of himself on several occasions and confessed he is indeed “clumsy”.
Simon was also once captured by paps sporting a black eye on a beach, but he immediately released a statement at the time to clear up any fan’s concerns.
He informed his followers at the time that he “accidentally hit his face on the front door” of his London home.
In December 2019 he showed up to the X Factor studios sporting a cut near his eye.
He told reporters at the time that he received the cut from hitting his face on his front door.
Horrific skiing injury
During an episode of Britain’s Got Talent, which was aired in May 2019, Simon stormed off the stage in the middle of a performance.
That act was Jimmy Tamley’s, who is a ventriloquist, and Simon made a rapid beeline for the exit when Jimmy tried to get him to dance by brushing his leg.
The comedian stroked Simon’s leg and in a flash he was across the stage.
An Insider told Metro.co.uk after the episode aired that the reason Simon leaped was “because of an old skiing injury”.
The insider claimed at the time: “It turns out the reason Simon left the stage was due to an old skiing injury.
“Jimmy grabbed hold of Simon’s knee but, understandably, won’t have realised about Simon’s old injury when he wanted him to do the can-can.
“So Simon had to take the lead to stop any embarrassment!
“Backstage, everyone has been giggling – and Simon thinks it was a great TV moment!”
The source continued: “Simon is absolutely fine. He’s been laughing about it during the ad break.
“There’s been lots of laughter in the dressing room, with a few production members jokingly acting with their tails between their legs!
“But Simon saw the funny side.”
Fears he could be ‘seriously injured’ on BGT

On top of the injuries Simon has actually suffered and reportedly dealt with, he also frequently misses out on being injured on Britain’s Got Talent.
The judge sparked fears in April 2019 when BGT star Andrei Gomonov admitted that Simon could have “seriously injured” himself during his audition.
During a dangerous knife throwing act, Simon stepped in as the 60-year-old comedian’s glamorous assistant.
However, the performer has since admitted that the act could have gone horribly wrong if Simon had moved just an inch out of place.
Speaking about his fears, Andrei said: “This was high stakes. It was more dangerous because I didn’t know what Simon would do.
“I know my partner. She knows not to be scared and not to move.
“But I didn’t know if Simon might move. I worried I might leave him seriously injured.”
The knife thrower thankfully managed to get through his audition without hurting the music mogul, and received a huge round of applause.
