Football icon Rio Ferdinand and his former TOWIE star wife Kate Wright announced today that they are expecting their first child together.
The sweet couple revealed the news on Kate’s Instagram account as they shared how “deliriously happy” they are by the news.
Taking to her account, Kate posted a cute clip of herself telling Rio’s three children about the happy news.
The reality TV star captioned the post: “The crazy house is about to get a little bit crazier… every time I watch this it makes me cry, the best reaction.
“Baby Ferdy we are all so excited to meet you.”

Rumours first started circulating that the pair were dating when Rio was pictured leaving Kate’s home in January 2017 in Essex.
Kate had recently split from her co-star Dan Edgar at the time, while Rio’s wife Rebecca sadly passed away in 2015 after a short battle with cancer.
In July 2017, they made their relationship more public when they were pictured out together for a romantic drink in London.
Later that month they made it ‘Instagram official” when Kate shared a picture of herself and Rio’s kids’ feet all wearing the same trainers.

Then in August 2017, Kate made her first appearance on Rio’s Instagram during a family holiday in Portugal.
Kate shocked the showbiz world when she announced in September 2017 that she wass quitting the reality TV scene to be a step-mum to Rio’s kids.
The pair then moved in together that month and in December 2017 the family had their first Christmas together.
In May 2018 Kate revealed that Rio’s kids have been begging them to have a baby of their own.

Rio told Daily Star in May 2018 that the pair have spoke about marriage, he said: “We do talk about it. But I’m not going to sit here and give you a date.”
Months later, in November 2018, the pair got engaged when Rio proposed to Kate while on holiday in Abu Dhabi with his kids.
The pair got married last year on September 27, when they exchanged vows in front of 180 friends and family on the sun-drenched shores of Marmaris, Turkey.
The couple now steal their fans hearts by sharing sweet snaps of themselves at Disneyland with Rio’s children, and they often share clips of themselves working out together.
