Jackie Stallone’s final Instagram post was dedicated to son Sylvester.
It was announced on Tuesday (September 22) astrologer and Celebrity Big Brother star Jackie died aged 98 from unknown causes.
Her last Instagram post, shared back in July this year, saw her post a throwback snap of her son Sylvester with his pet dog Butkus, who appeared alongside him in the Rocky films.
The outspoken star, best known in the UK for her appearance on Celebrity Big Brother back in 2005, tagged her son in a post, saying: “My son @officialslystallone with his dog Butkus.”

Jackie was a household name after becoming a female wrestling promoter on the TV show, G.L.O.W which aired for five years in the 1980s.
Jackie, born Jacqueline Frances, was most known in the UK for her appearance on Celebrity Big Brother back in 2005.
The outspoken star was introduced as the series “surprise” housemate.
Her appearance went down in reality television history following her clash with ex-daughter-in-law Brigitte Nielson, who she had not seen since 1987.
The pair famously clashed both in the Big Brother house and outside, with Jackie’s entry uttering the words: “yeah, Jackie” becoming an iconic phrase.

However, her appearance on the show was short-lived and she was evicted by the public just four days into her stint in the Borehamwood house.
Despite nearing 100-years-old, Jackie showed no signs of slowing down – often documenting her weight lifting exercises to her social media channels.
Aged just 15, Jackie ran away from home and worked as an aerialist on Baily’s The Greatest Show on Earth.
She later went on to become the first woman to have a regular exercise and weightlifting programme aired on primetime TV.

While a second added: “Rest in peace Jackie Stallone. She was a delight on Celebrity Big Brother.”
Butkus who died in 1981 is said to have inspired Sylvester to write the first Rocky film.
Sharing a tribute to Butkis in 2007, Sylvester said: “Since we’re on the subject of ” man’s best friend” this is myself and Butkus as a puppy , we were both , thin , hungry and living in a flophouse above a subway stop, I used to say this apartment had ” … Hot and cold running roaches” anyway there was not much to do except spend time with each other and that’s where I started to learn the craft of screenwriting.
“Since I never went out, I relied on his companionship , And actually it was his idea to write Rocky, but don’t tell anyone….
“Years later when things got even worse I had to sell him for $40 in front of a 7-Eleven store, because I couldn’t afford food, then like A modern day miracle, the screenplay for Rocky sold, and I could buy and buy him back, but the new owner knew I was desperate, and charged me $15,000 … He was worth every penny!”
