Jacqueline Jossa says she will return to EastEnders as Lauren Branning.
The actress says she is planning to return to the BBC soap “in the next five years”.
Jacqueline, 27, is currently in high demand after winning I’m A Celebrity last year.
However, the star, who is married to former TOWIE hunk Dan Osborne, says she still has a place in her heart for the soap.
Jacqueline played the Lauren Branning from 2010 until her departure in 2018.

Lauren was seen leaving for New Zealand with husband Peter Beale and son Louis.
Chatting about the programme, Lauren said: “I absolutely love EastEnders, love the people, the production and I absolutely love Lauren Branning with all my heart.
“It doesn’t feel like it was a goodbye forever, definitely not, well not from my end anyway.
She continued telling Mail Online: “I would love to go back someday. I could hobble back in on my walking stick one day.”

When asked if she would return in under five years, Jacqueline replied: “I think that sounds better than me going back tomorrow, yes.”
Speculation about Jacqueline returning to EastEnders exploded in December when it was announced that her onscreen boyfriend, Peter Beale, would be returning to Walford.

She has also hinted in the past about returning to the soap.
During an Instagram Q&A last month, when asked if she would play Lauren again, she replied: “Maybe one day. She’s not dead yet.”
Jacqueline replaced original actress Madeline Duggan in the role.
EastEnders returns to BBC One on Monday at 8pm
