Strictly Come Dancing star James Jordan has told of his horror after his father started to have a seizure during a FaceTime call.
The professional dancer explained they were communicating via video call to the hospital when the medical emergency took place.
James, 41, said: “Dad’s not good.
“I was on FaceTime to him this morning and he had a seizure during our conversation and it is absolutely horrendous to see, so that really upset me today.”
He added to Hello! magazine: “Yesterday he had around seven seizures and no one knows why… Today they’re sending him for a MRI.
“I think there needs to be a lot more to be investigated to work out what’s wrong, but I’m not a doctor.”

Due to his father being hospitalised in March, James has been unable to see him in person for two months.
To make the situation even more demanding, James and wife Ola have recently welcomed their first child together.
The deterioration of his father has also had a knock on effect on James’ mother.
He added to the publication: “It’s just really tough and my mum is really struggling at the moment and finding it really, really hard.

“She’s been on the phone to him when he’s had seizures as well.
“I mean, you see all of these people going to the beach right next to each other and they say they’re going to open the shops, and yet my mum still can’t go in and sit next to my dad when he’s very sick in hospital? It’s quite upsetting and frustrating.”
Writing on Instagram shortly after his father was taken ill in March, James admitted it was the most difficult time of his life.
He posted to his fans: “Trying to juggle a new born with wife who is still recovering, my dad in hospital and the coronavirus.
“I would like to think I’m a strong person but I’m going to admit it’s the most stressful time of my life.
“I’m still thinking of all of you! We must all stay safe AND #BeKind”.
