Jane Fonda has shown-off her incredible fitness in a new workout video decades after shooting to fame for the leotard-clad routines that saw her cemented as a sex symbol.
The 82-year-old actress and model became a 1980s icon after her blockbuster Jane Fonda’s Workout VHS sold more than 17 million copies globally.
Featuring energetic aerobics, leg-warmers, headbands, and a wardrobe of leotards and tights in every colour, the Hollywood star revolutionised home fitness.
Now, 38 years after the VHS release, the star has shown-off her moves in a TikTok video.

Jane isn’t wearing a leotard in the throwback and instead opts for wide leggings and a tight plunging top which exaggerates her youthful décolletage.
In the video, she performs a series of leg raises and shows-off an impressive level of flexibility for her years.
The caption across the screen reads “Google me” in a cheeky joke aimed at her younger audience.
But Jane then takes fire at her own clip and says people shouldn’t be using videos to help them exercise because the energy consumption is damaging the environment.

She says: “She said: “You know what, there’s too many workouts happening right now on TV or computers.
“What I would really like you to do is workout with me for the planet. There’s a climate crisis, which is a real emergency.”
Jane’s fans didn’t seem to get the message though, with one tweeting: “One of the few bright spots in our household these weeks has been working out to 80s Jane Fonda on YouTube.”
A second fan wrote: “Bring back the striped French-cut leotard too!”
