Joe Swash gives out to Stacey Solomon in awkward Celebrity Gogglebox spat

Joe Swash and Stacey Solomon had a tiny argument on today’s instalment of Celebrity Gogglebox, as they clashed heads over “labels”.

The lovebirds could be heard off-camera, moving about the kitchen before settling down for the evening to watch television together.

Clearly unhappy about the number of labels in their home, Joe fumed: “Honestly I hate labels, you put labels on everything.”

Comparing the Loose Women star to a corrupt world leader, he added: “Honestly, it’s like living with a dictator.”

As hilarious as ever, Stacey replied: “I’m hardly Stalin!”

Luckily, the minor spat had viewers in stitches, as they begged Channel 4 to give Joe and Stacey their own namesake reality show.

One said: “I need Stacey and Joe to have their own tv show.”

A second joked: “Stacey Solomon, the great dictator.”

While a third chimed: “The highlight of #CelebrityGogglebox is Stacey and Joe, never fail to crack me up.”

Later in the episode, the celebrity couple – who welcomed their first child together last year – had viewers laughing yet again, as Stacey started cracking jokes about Joe’s breath.

She said: “You smell like… pate.”

Before asking: “Have you had meat or something? Raw meat?

Teasing the former X Factor star, Joe demanded: “Come closer.”

Squirming, Stacey started laughing and replied: “No, I don’t want to!”

Putting the pate-breath to the back of their minds, the lovebirds then cosied up on the sofa to watch old film footage of the 1966 World Cup Final between England and Germany.

Resting her head on Joe’s shoulder, Stacey made it clear their playful spat had been a light-hearted one.

Celebrity Gogglebox airs on Fridays at 9pm on Channel 4.
