Johnny Depp trial shown horrifying photos of his blood-smeared kitchen

An image shown in court revealed the damage to his kitchen after an incident, which saw the actor’s finger severed.

Johnny Depp claimed it happened when his former wife Amber Heard threw a vodka bottle at him.

In a previous statement, Heard claimed he’d hurt his hand while smashing a plastic phone against the wall repeatedly.

She insists she was not present at the time of his injury, which led him to be hospitalised.

The picture shows a smashed window and blood spatters all over the floor.

There are also pieces of broken glass lying on the counter tops, alongside bottles of alcohol.

Ben King, who previously worked on Johnny Depp’s estate, took to the stand on Wednesday morning. He detailed how he was tasked with finding Depp’s finger.

He told London’s High Court this morning that he found the severed digit in the bar during his cleaning duties.

King continued that he found out from the media that Depp lost his finger when a vodka bottle was allegedly thrown at him.

Sasha Wass, QC for News Group Newspapers, asked: “You were not told at the house or at any time when you were working you were not told this explanation?”

Mr King replied: “I don’t recall being told that.”

Ms Wass stated on March 8, 2015 the scene was “chaos” and the house was “wrecked”.

Mr King agreed “it was not in a good state”.

Ms Wass said Mr King was tasked with finding Depp’s severed digit.

He replied: “It wasn’t my job but I was told it may be somewhere while I was cleaning up.”

Depp is brought the libel case against News Group Newspapers after an April 2018 article in The Sun, written by Executive Editor Dan Wooton, referred to the Pirates of the Caribbean star as a “wife beater,” following Heard’s allegations of domestic abuse.
