AceShowbizJustin Timberlake‘s much-anticipated new movie, “Palmer“, has been snapped up by Apple bosses.

The SK Global feature, directed by actor Fisher Stevens from Cheryl Guerriero’s script, is expected to become a streaming hit when it finally gets released as a video-on-demand treat.

The “Cry Me a River” singer, who has tasted film success in the “Trolls” movies, “Trouble with the Curve“, “Runner, Runner“, and “The Social Network“, will play a former college football phenomenon trying to get his life back on track after a prison sentence.

Juno Temple, Oscar nominee June Squibb, and Alisha Wainwright also star in Stevens’ new movie, with Ryder Allen making his feature film debut as the youngster Timberlake’s character takes on after his mother abandons him.
