Kanye West has joined in Black Lives Matter protests on Chicago’s South Side as people continue to protest across the United States following the death of George Floyd.
Yeezus attempted to blend in with protestors, wearing an oversized black hoodie, signature khaki trousers and facemask.
His participation comes hours after a spokesperson for the musician confirmed that he had donated £1.6million to the families of George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbrery, and Breonna Taylor since their deaths.
Kanye’s representative also confirmed to CNN that he had set up a 529 education plan which will take care of the college education for George’s daughter, Gianna, six.
Chicago-native Kanye, 42, walked alongside protesters outside the Chicago Police Service District Office on South Dearborn before making their way to the CPD headquarters at 35th and Michigan.
Kim Kardashian-West’s husband has also reportedly donated to aid the legal teams working with the families of Ahmaud Arbrery, and Breonna Taylor.
Kanye is reported to have attended the protest for around 30 minutes, with one protester saying: “This is a youth black rally, this is not a celebrity pop-up. You will not hijack this rally.”

He has also contributed towards black-run businesses in Chicago.
Kanye’s touching moves comes days after his wife, Kim, offered to foot the medical bills of a female protestor who was allegedly hit in the face with rubber bullets during a demonstration.
Timothée Chalamet, Niall Horan, Harry Styles are among a string of celebrities who have also taken to streets across the world to stand in solidarity with the Black Lives Matter movement.

While Harry and fellow musicians such as Sia have also made significant donations to help bail out protesters that have been arrested.
Canadian rapper Drake made a donation of £79,000 to the National Bail Service, which was matched by The Weeknd who also donated a further £158,850 to Black Lives Matter Global Network.
