Good Morning Britain viewers were left feeling a little worried yesterday when Charlotte Hawkins appeared to replace Kate Garraway on the show.
Thankfully, Kate’s absence can be explained, as the 53-year-old simply pushed her GMB appeareance ahead to later in the week.
At the end of today’s show, host Adil Ray confirmed Kate would return to ITV tomorrow, kicking off the show at 6am.
Just before the GMB credits began to roll, the 46-year-old host announced “my favourite, Kate,” would be presenting the Wednesday instalment of the morning news show.
He said: “Bill Roache will be on the show tomorrow. My favourite, Kate Garraway will be here.”
Since her GMB return last month, Kate has been joined by co-presenter Ben Shephard on Monday and Tuesday mornings, presenting the first two instalments of the week.

However, in a hosting shake-up this week, Charlotte has been joined by Adil Ray in the ITV studios, presenting the show with GMB’s Dr Hilary Jones.
While Ben announced he would be taking a break from the show to focus on the production of Tipping Point, yesterday morning, fans weren’t sure why Kate had taken leave.
The proud mum has been caring for her kids, Billy, 11, and Darcey, 14, since her husband Derek Draper was admitted to hospital with coronavirus back in March.

Former Labour lobbyist Derek tragically remains in hospital, as though he no longer has the virus, it has wreaked havoc on his internal organs.
Taking to Twitter, worried viewers asked after Kate, wondering why Charlotte had temporarily replaced her on the show.
One said: “Where is Kate .. started looking forward to Monday’s as Kate was finally back with us.”

“I like Charlotte but is everything ok with Kate? Doesn’t she do Mondays?” wondered a second.
And a third added: “Where is Kate today?”
Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid are due to return to the show next month, after taking several weeks of annual leave during the summer break.
