Katie Price and Peter Andre found love, or should that actually be lust, in the I’m A Celebrity jungle.
They were seen getting frisky in hammocks, canoodling by the camp fire and were spotted cavorting under a canvas by infrared cameras in the 2004 series.
The unlikely duo couldn’t keep their hands off each other, driving their fellow campmates to distraction, including Kerry Katona, who last week compared the former couple to Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston.
Claiming Katie gave him a big helping hand, Kerry wrote in New magazine: “I adore them both, but there’s no question being with Kate in the jungle helped reinvigorate Pete’s career and made him who he is today.”
They are both rumoured to be heading back for the new series, with Peter 3/1 to make a sensational return according to Ladbrokes, while Katie has 4/1 odds.
As well as constant flirty comments during their jungle stint, there were hammock massages, lots of kisses and they even practised some sex positions in broad daylight.

Katie, who was dating Scott Sullivan when she entered the show, forgot about her man on the outside as she spent nearly every waking moment with Peter.
During one chat with their legs wrapped around each other on a hammock, Katie started asking the Mysterious Girl singer what he was like in bed.
“I bet you really fake it in bed. I bet you’re really noisy. I bet he’s noisy and creative,” said giggling Katie.
It was becoming obvious to the camp and to viewers that Peter was very invested in Katie and wanted to know where they stood.
She became convinced he was only staying around her to stay in the jungle, while gutted Peter confessed his feelings were genuine.
Peter felt he was being “naive” and “didn’t want to look stupid” so told Katie that he was no longer interested because of the game playing.

The public seemed to side with Peter and Katie was eliminated in 5th place, while the singer made it to the final two days later.
During her exit interview with hosts Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly, Katie covered her eyes as she was forced to watch back saucy clips with Peter.
The Geordie presenters asked Katie if she realised they were filming all the time – and she admitted they were aware of the night vision cameras.
Katie claimed “nothing did happen” with Peter sexually in the jungle aside from some flirting, but confessed she would like to stay in contact and go out for dinner.
The glamour model was waiting for him on the outside and was ready to take their romance to the next level when he got out of the jungle.
But Peter was beginning to have second thoughts.

“When I saw her for the first time with her hair done nicely and with full make-up on, do you know what I thought? Inside I went, ugh!” he wrote in his 2010 autobiography, All About Us – My Story.
“She was also a bit drunk and I didn’t like that.
“She could tell I was staring at her face, which was so different from the one I’d become accustomed to in the jungle. All I could think to say that wouldn’t be too unkind was, ‘I think you looked better… in the jungle without the make-up and the hair off your face.”
Peter claimed his family had already warned him to “stay away” from Katie, but he got a shock when she virtually proposed, whispering: “There’s one thing I have to say. It begins with M and it’s a leap year.”
Before he could answer, he was whisked off into isolation by I’m A Celeb staff.

However, Katie managed to get a present over to her love interest – a recording of Phil Collins’ Against All Odds.
It was at this point that Peter admitted he knew it was meant to be.
“That was the moment I knew Katie and I were going to spend the rest of our lives together. Our love really was against all odds,” he wrote.
Determined to be with her man, Katie managed to find a way past the security guards looking after Pete and infiltrate his lockdown.
“She was wearing a horrible low cut top and a very short skirt. Her hair was all frizzy and looked a mess,” Pete sniped, claiming she barged into the bathroom and again asked him to marry her.
“She was drunk and I couldn’t take her seriously. Judging by the state of her, I doubted a relationship would last more than a week,” he said.

At this point Pete claimed Katie started to cry, but gave him an offer he was powerless to refuse.
“No, you can’t let me go. I’ve never felt his way about anyone,” Pete said she wailed.
“Never, never, never. Look, I’ll prove it to you… I’ll never leave your side… every day… every night… do you want a little suck?”
Despite being in turmoil over whether to ‘respect her or not’, Pete admitted the lust was too strong to resist, admitting the “acorn was once again an oak”.
From that moment on he was preoccupied by “what it would be like to be inside her,” and Katie and Peter became an item.

As has been well-documented, the pair went on to marry and have two kids together, but their relationship ultimately ended in divorce.
Katie got emotional as she reflected on falling in love with Peter on her show in July last year.
During an episode of My Crazy Life, Katie was feeling reflective as she came across her I’m A Celeb rucksack and water bottle – and the memories came flooding back.
“The first time I went in the jungle, I never thought I’d bloody fall in love with someone, and obviously I met Pete and had two beautiful kids,” she said.
Then Katie added: “It’s weird, it brings back so many memories.”
