Katie Hopkins has been permanently been banned from Twitter after breaching the site’s community guidelines.
She used to tweet from the handle @kthopkins.
When Twitter users go her her account they are greeted with a message from Twitter HQ confirming the account has been taken down.
The message reads: “Account Suspended. Twitter suspends accounts which violate Twitter rules.
A spokesperson for Twitter confirmed to Huffington Post: “Keeping Twitter safe is a top priority for us – abuse and hateful conduct have no place on our service and we will continue to take action when our rules are broken.

“In this case, the account has been permanently suspended for violations of our hateful conduct policy.”
Katie has built a career on her outspoken and often offensive comments.
Most recently she caused shockwaves online after hitting out at the ongoing Black Lives Matter movement.
Taking to Twitter on June 17, Katie wrote: “Today is #whiteoutwednesday. I will shortly be posting a picture of my arse. Thank you.”
Katie also lashed out at football player Marcus Rashford after he lobbied the government to continue school meals for the poorest members of society throughout the six weeks summer holidays due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.
Far from impressed, Katie tweeted the Man United ace: “Do you think women should think about how they are going to feed a child before they decide to have it?
“I do not want to pay to feed other people’s kids. You are welcome to.”

This isn’t the first time Twitter have stepped in and taken action against the former Apprentice star.
In January this year her account was temporarily suspended for another breach of site rules.
Katie is yet to comment on the news she has been removed from Twitter for good.
She still has a presence on social media via her Instagram account which currently has just over 71,000 followers.
A rep for Katie Hopkins has been contacted by Daily Star Online for comment.
