Katie Price has spoke of her heartbreak after the death of her daughter’s new puppy, Rolo, who she bought for Princess for her 13th birthday.
The 42-year-old took to her YouTube with Princess beside her and confirmed how the puppy had died.
She explained that Rolo died after he got stuck after falling behind a chair while he was in the other room.
Mum-of-five Katie said: “Basically I was in the other room because we’re going on holiday so I was packing their suitcases.
“There’s five people in the other room so people saying the puppy was left, the puppy wasn’t left at all. And it just got stuck under one of the chairs.”

Princess added: “Bunny was even there playing with him so it wasn’t like he was just left in the room.”
Katie told her followers: “We don’t even leave our dogs, it’s like, I wasn’t in the room and I was just told he died and I’m like, ‘What do you mean?’ It’s just awful. It’s awful.
“It absolutely wasn’t anybody’s fault it was an absolute freak accident. I’m still in shock about it to be honest, how this has happened it’s just a freak accident.”

She went on: “The vet said what happened with the dog is really common, they’re small puppies and they get into small places and suffocate, this that.”
Speaking of the tragic moment she found Rolo dead, Katie said: “I literally said, ‘Oh my God he’s got to be alive,’ trying to start compressing his chest, took him to the vet straight away and, yeah, he was pronounced dead. Nothing they could do. They did say he wouldn’t have died in pain. It was quick.”
Princess defended her mum too, saying: “People that are blaming mum and everything like that, it’s not anyone’s fault.”
Meanwhile, animal rights organisation PETA has slammed the model, with director Elisa Allen said: “For dogs’ sake, Katie must not be allowed to acquire any more animals.
“At least three dogs and one horse have died on her watch in the last few years alone – and she’s also tried to sell off two cats on Instagram as though they were shoes she no longer wore.
“Her irresponsible attitude is costing wonderful animals their lives, so PETA urges her – and anyone else unable to provide animals with appropriate care – to fill their homes with cuddly toys instead.”
