The 35-year-old left fans in hysterics as she put a very different spin on the expression that has been used to entice US citizens to head to the polling stations.
Taking a stand, she certainly captivated attention as she shared a clip of her own meaning of “getting pumped”, that has racked up over 658,000 views so far.

The Firework hitmaker, who recently welcomed her first daughter, Daisy, with fiancé Orlando Bloom, couldn’t resist adding some breast pumping action to spur on her fans to register.
It seems that the new parents, seem to share opposing views on the term “getting pumped” with Katy admitting she associates it with expressing milk while Orlando assumed it’s to do with sport.
New mum Katy wanted to ensure that her breast-pumping action was included as sport, telling fans she’d “twist nipples” if anyone dared to disagree.

Trying to drum up the number of voters in the election this year, she can be seen on the hilarious video chomping on a snack as she watches other celebrities get active and workout.
Towards the end of the video the songstress comes into view to showcase her own skills.
Captioning the snippet, she penned: “GET PUMPED TO VOTE!!! Okay so @orlandobloom and I have different views on what it means to get pumped these days but whoever said pumping isn’t a sport… I’d like to twist their nipples clockwise for one week straight.”

Taking a slightly more serious stance, she turned her audience to the crux of the matter which was to ensure they had registered to vote before time ran out.
She added: “ANYWAY I am going to exercise my right to vote!!!! Especially if @JaneFonda says I should.
“We’re getting in shape for the race of our lives this November and it has never been more important to #ExerciseThatVote.
