Coronation Street star Kerri Quinn is set to make a return to the soap.
The actress has signed a deal to reprise her role as gobby Vicky Jefferies.
She was ready for a return this summer, but it has now been delayed by the pandemic.
Kerri said: “I was due back to Coronation Street this month and, although they’ve resumed filming, it could be next year before they reach my storyline.
“The plan was to revive the character this summer, however that could change a bit now. I loved playing Vicky. I’d go back in a heartbeat.”

Vicky was last seen on the cobbles in December. She fled Weatherfield to start a new life in Ireland.
Producers are said to be keen to bring her back.
A Corrie insider said: “Vicky is a really great character. There’s a lot more the writers could do with her, so it makes sense to bring her back.
“Once things start to return to normal, the plan is to get her back.”
Coronation resumed filming on June 9 following the coronavirus lockdown.
Despite staff returning to the ITV studio, safety precautions were put in place to ensure people can work in a safe environment.

Since filming resumed at Corrie’s studios in Greater Manchester, cast and crew have their temperatures checked on a daily basis.
Cast members “who are over the age of 70 or have an underlying health condition won’t be on set in the initial period of filming”, ITV has said.
