Lauren Goodger accused of editing her hair and face in childhood snap

Lauren Goodger has been accused of a Photoshop fail after she allegedly doctored an image from her younger years.

The former TOWIE star was accused of using some editing magic on a photo with her father from when she was a bridesmaid, aged five.

Lauren allegedly edited the throwback shot, and made noticeable alterations to her face and hair along with giving her dad a touch-up before posting it earlier the week on Instagram.

But her allegedly tampered-with image didn’t go unnoticed by her Instagram following, as the original photo was included in her autobiography, Secrets Of An Essex Girl, in 2013.

Lauren Goodger posted the right snap on Instagram earlier this week, but the original image soon resurfaced

In the original snap, Lauren, who was standing in front of her father, was seen pulling a face while holding onto a bunch of flowers and wearing a pink dress with a floral headpiece.

Her hair was noticeably different with her dark locks cut short, however, in the altered version, her hair colour and length had both changed.

Meanwhile, her facial features seemingly changed with her face, along with her father’s, looking altogether smoother and more defined.

Lauren previously revealed she won’t stop editing her social media shots anytime soon.

During an interview on Loose Women in March 2019, the Celebs Go Dating star revealed she feels constantly “under pressure” to look a certain way, and suffers from anxiety from constantly trying to achieve the perfect social media image.

“I feel like I’m under a lot of pressure in my job. You want to make yourself look better,” she told the panellists.

“I’m under pressure. A lot of people look at me as an influence and social media is an obsession… I suffer really badly with anxiety.

“Now, I think they’d like me more, maybe that’s where I go wrong sometimes. It’s where I feel like I’m under pressure.”

Discussing the rising number of reality TV stars, she added: “You’ve got all these new shows out now, Love Island, they are just taking over now and there is so many of us but when I did it we were just a very small group. So now I’m behind and I’m still learning today.”
