Lewis Burton has broken his social media silence, days after Caroline Flack ’s mother appeared to pen scathing comments about her daughter’s relationship with the tennis player.
The remarks came after it was alleged the 28-year-old, who was dating the Love Island presenter until her tragic death in February, was seen moving on with Louis Tomlinson’s little sister Lottie Tomlinson.
Caroline was found dead in her London home on February 15, having taken her own life.
Posting for the first time in days, sportsman and model Lewis shared a photo of himself riding a jet ski earlier this evening, simply accompanied by a wave emoji.

The comment function on the photo, which showed him cruising across a seascape in a life-jacket, had been turned off.
Lewis and Lottie were allegedly seen getting cosy during a trip to Ibiza, with the tennis player apparently leaning in for a kiss.
Lottie’s Instagram account, on which the makeup artist has 3.7million followers, appeared to click “like” on the image of Lewis on a jet-ski.

Earlier this week, an account which is thought to be run by Caroline’s mother, Christine, left a series of comments under images of the former couple on her daughter’s Instagram account.
Under one photo of Lewis and Caroline at Winter Wonderland last year, the user wrote: “He is now in the same pose different girl.”
The same user wrote a second comment under the photo, adding: “I feel the same this photo is a lie.”

Christine, who is alleged to have an account with the username Ccjep, penned more comments under a photo of Lewis and Caroline sunbathing on a beach.

Later, the account added: “Want this deleted so much.”
