Linda Lusardi slammed “selfish” partygoers, and said those who are still meeting in big groups during the coronavirus pandemic should be given “a blanket fine”.
The star contracted covid-19 last month, and was admitted into intensive care for several days, but managed to battle the life-threatening bug and is now on the road to recovery.
Opening up about her scary health woes, the 61-year-old discussed her symptoms to make others aware of what to look out for, and addressed reports of Manchester police having to break up several get-togethers over the weekend.
She hit out at people who are still attending parties despite the current lockdown conditions, and said they should receive fines, with all money donated to the NHS.

Speaking to Sky News, she explained: “Those selfish people having parties, I think give them a blanket fine that goes to the NHS.
“Give them a £500 fine each when they’re not keeping to the rules.
“The more people go out, the more people have parties and think ‘let’s play football, we’re not going to get it’, every time they go out they’re prolonging the lockdown and prolonging the virus staying in this country.
“Don’t give them a criminal record, hit them where it hurts and fine them £500 or go to their house and take something worth £500 and that should go straight to the NHS.”

During the candid chat, Linda spoke about the symptoms her and husband Sam Kane showed, with doctors initially thinking she was suffering from a tummy bug because she was throwing up.
She said: “We didn’t really recognise the symptoms because they were not typical of what had been put out there.
“My husband and I both had diarrhoea and sickness, which wasn’t one of the symptoms we were told about.

She added that she was “vomiting a lot” and started to “deteriorate badly”.
“We were told about the dry cough and the fever. We got the fever as well. I caught it from him about three of four days afterwards and we both deteriorated so badly.
“He had days when he was going up and down, but I took a nosedive really until I really couldn’t breathe.
“I was vomiting a lot, which was really strange because it was blue. Blue was coming up from my lungs. And lying on my front with a bucket feeling like I was drifting away…”
Sam was released from hospital following a three-day stint, while Linda recovered in intensive care for ten days.
