Linda Lusardi's husband says she's 'getting stronger' amid Covid-19 battle

Linda Lusardi’s actor husband Sam Kane has taken to his Facebook page to give a health update on his wife, who is bravely battling coronavirus.

The Page 3 icon is “getting stronger” after her hubby shared she was on oxygen and fighting for her life in hospital.

Addressing his Facebook followers, Sam, 51, said: “Dear friends. Apologies for the lack of updates.

“I’m happy to say that Linda is doing really well. She’s getting stronger and stronger as the days go by. Still a long way from well but much closer to it than my last post. Her spirits are up and she’s back to bossing me about so that’s massive.

“Once again. Your messages, your prayers, your love and support have been so incredibly helpful through all of this. I’ve told Linda all about your messages and she says a huge thank you to you all. She absolutely knows it’s helped. So many thanks.

“Huge thank you to my spiritual healers out there too. June Field, TJ Higgs and George Christie for your incredible support and help through this. Your healing and your reassurance has been a lifeline for me. Thank you so much.

“The light is in sight my pals. I’m so happy to tell you this. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.”

Sam also praised NHS staff for putting their lives at risk to treat Linda, 61.

Sam’s message of gratitude comes after the couples’ daughter Lucy, who is also an actress, took to her Instagram page yesterday to send a message to the health workers who have looked after her mum.

She penned: “I would like to say a personal thank you to all the wonderful staff that nursed my amazing dad back to health and all the staff currently looking after my beautiful mum, helping her recover from this awful virus…
