Linda’s sister Anne was unfortunately not well enough to join her sister for the interview.
When Introducing Anne on the programme today, presenter Kate Garraway said: “From performing side-by-side to going through the toughest of times together, Nolan sisters Linda and Anne were diagnosed with cancer just days apart in March.
“We’re going to be hearing about their gruelling fight against the disease which of course took the life of their beloved sister Bernie.”

Co-host Ben Shephard explained: “Linda’s going to be joining us, Anne’s not quite well enough, unfortunately, but looking forward to catching up.”
“She’s ok but just a bit too poorly,” Kate added.
During the interview, Anne explained how difficult lockdown made her diagnosis.
She said: “During lockdown it’s been a nightmare.
“We all usually get together… we laugh and we chat, but we couldn’t do that.
“That made it more difficult… Anne has struggled with that as she has two daughters.”

Linda explained: “When we go to chemo we have a good old chin wag and compare side effects.”
The sisters were both diagnosed with cancer in March.

Linda has incurable cancer in her liver. She previously battled breast cancer in 2006, cellulitis and lymphoedema in her arm in 2007 and secondary cancer on her pelvis in 2017.
Their sister Bernie passed away from cancer in 2013.
