Lizzo thought she was dying during huge anxiety attack after trolls targeted her

Pop sensation Lizzo has opened up about anxiety attacks she has suffered from intense trolling on the internet.

The Good as Hell hitmaker, who rose to fame last year thanks to her hit track Truth Hurts, revealed she has since found a therapist after hitting rock bottom due to cruel keyboard warriors.

And the 32-year-old decided to shut down her Twitter account earlier this year after she was left feeling “depressed” by the barrage of cruel comments.

She told Australia’s Marie Claire magazine: “Sometimes I have negative thoughts and feel like I’m dying.

“I’ve learned to breathe when this happens. I understand the privilege of being able to practise circulate breathing until I can manage my anxiety.

“I cry and talk to a therapist until that oppressive feeling goes away.”

Discussing the reasons why she decided to turn her back on Twitter, she explained: “I usually don’t care when people make negative comments but that was too much.

“I was seeing so much negative stuff and it was depressing.”

The singer’s management now runs her Twitter account on her behalf.

The singer is currently lapping up the sunshine in a sprawling Palm Springs rental boasting a helicopter pad, four bedrooms, five bathrooms and a 60 foot infinity-edge pool.

Taking to Instagram, the American star has been keeping her fans up-to-date with her sun-soaked escapades, revealing she’s working on new material.

Underneath the shots, she wrote: “Got 2 screenplays, an album and some checks to write. Thank you, desert for always inspiring me.”

We’re sure the new album will be a banger.
