The live show is usually on air for an hour, but Tuesday’s edition was cut short due to a schedule shake-up.

Social distancing may have ripped up the social calendar, but the five-day meeting starts behind closed doors today

Andrea McLean told viewers that Loose Women will only air for 30 minutes for the rest of the week

Fans were not happy that the latest edition of Loose Women was cut short this afternoon.

Taking to Twitter, one fan moaned: “Oh is that it…. thought it lasted to 13:30hrs”

Another pointed out: “Loose Women finished early today.”

It is the not first time Loose Women episodes have been slashed to 30 minutes to make room for a sporting event,

ITV’s other shows such as Good Morning Britain and This Morning remain unaffected in terms of the scheduling.

A message on the official ITV website reads: “You might notice something a little different about your daily dose of Loose Women this week.

“From Tuesday 28th to Friday 31st July we’ll still be with you from 12.30pm on ITV, STV and the ITV Hub, but we’ll be wrapping up a little earlier than usual.

Loose Women will return to its normal one hour slot next week

“That’s because the racing is on at Goodwood and will be airing each day on ITV from 1.30pm. So, the Loose Women will be with you from 12.30pm, followed by the ITV Lunchtime News at 1pm and the racing coverage will kick off just after that at 1.30pm.”

The message continued “Don’t worry, though, we’ll still have plenty of time to discuss all the things that matter to you and have some great guests joining us too.

“And it’ll be back to business as usual with your favourite women from Monday 3rd August at 12.30pm.”

We’re looking forward to having a full hour with the Loose Women ladies next week.
