Lorraine Kelly was back on our screens this morning to present Good Morning Britain with Lorraine.
The 60-year-old presenter welcomed Downtown Abbey star Phyllis Logan onto her show this morning.
The actress chatted to the Scottish talk show host about her latest project narrating the new series of The Highland Vet.
Things took an awkward turn as Phyllis’ husband Kevin McNally interrupted the interview to bring his wife a cup of coffee.
Lorraine was impressed by the Pirates Of The Caribbean actor, who appeared on camera in his dressing gown.
Following a quick chat with a giggling Lorraine, Kevin left but his unexpected appearance left a lasting impression with the ITV star.
Just before the interview came to a close, Lorraine said to Phyllis: “Thank you. I hope to see you soon.
“Thank your gorgeous husband. You know I’ve got a crush on him, so do thank him for coming on in his dressing gown.
“It made my morning.”
Lorraine’s flirty comments didn’t go down well with fans.
One unimpressed ITV viewer penned: “Fancy saying to a wife you have a crush on her husband, even if it was tongue in cheek.
“I wonder what the reaction on Twitter would have been if that was a man saying that about someone’s wife?”
Another added: “OMG Lorraine.”
A third ranted: “I can’t cope with Lorraine.”
Kevin and Phylis met in 1994 and they tied the knot in 2011.
There son David was born in 1996 and the family re currently in lockdown at their home in Chiswick.
Lorraine also chatted to producer Naughty Boy on her show this morning.
The La La La hitmaker chatted to the presenter about teaming up with Dementia UK in an heartfelt interview where he spoke about his mum.
