Lorraine Kelly could be taking part in the upcoming season of Strictly Come Dancing, Ben Shephard has suggested.
Speaking on Good Morning Britain earlier today, Ben pointed out that Lorraine had taken eight weeks off work, as he speculated over whether she was taking part in the hit BBC show.
Due to coronavirus restrictions, it has been rumoured that contestants will be forced to isolate with their dance partners for several weeks prior to filming.
Ben hinted Lorraine could be in a “Strictly bubble,” isolating with her potential dance partner ahead of her dancefloor debut.
It all kicked off when Christine Lampard came on the show, filling in for Lorraine along with ITV star Andi Peters.
Turning to Christine, presenter Kate Garraway remarked: “Ben is peddling all sorts of rumours about Lorraine this morning.

“He says that one of the reasons why she’s not here, I think it’s in the papers, is that she’s going into a Strictly bubble.
“You know how there’s talk about couples having to go into social bubbles, because of the social distancing?
“Lorraine is rumoured to be one of them.”
Christine, who starred on Strictly Come Dancing back in 2008, asked the rest of the crew whether there was any truth to the rumours.

She wondered: “Has anyone any sort of information in the studio. It’s all gone very quiet!”
While Lorraine is most likely enjoying a well-deserved holiday, Kate asked Christine for her advice, following her success on the show with professional dancer Matthew Cutler.
She pondered: “Would you advise her to do it, Christine?”

Despite raising a few concerns about the Strictly bubble, Christine admitted: “I guess I would.”
Kate quipped: “Couples going into bubbles is going to do nothing for the rumours of the Strictly curse, is it?”
As Ben laughed: “It will make the whole thing a lot more interesting frankly.”
Good Morning Britain airs on weekdays at 6am on ITV
