Love Island fans gobsmacked after realising where they've seen John James before

Love Island Australia fans saw a familiar face on tonight’s episode when certain viewers recognised bombshell contestant John James Parton.

The hunky newcomer arrived alongside Elias Chigros, determined to work his charms on the Aussie beauties in the villa.

However, as soon as he appeared on the screen, certain fans of the show realised they had seen the 34-year-old hunk appear on another major reality show.

After some detective work, Love Island fans figured out John James had starred as a housemate on Big Brother back in 2010.

Taking to Twitter, stunned viewers pieced the clues together, uncovering John James’ reality TV past as the episode played out.

One said: “Fancied john James YEARS ago on big brother. fancy him now. some things never change #LoveIslandAUS.”

“#LoveIslandAUS is John James the same guy from big brother UK years ago?” pondered a second.

“John James was on Big Brother in 2010, thought I recognised him #LoveIslandAUS,” added a third.

While a fourth chimed: “@LoveIslandAU John James Parton…oooooh I loved him on Big Brother! He’s still a hottie now! #LoveIslandAUS #JohnJames #LoveIsland.”

A decade ago, the Melbourne-born stud was evicted from the Big Brother house after 73 days before the cameras.

During his time on the show, he famously made a connection with series champion Josie Gibson, raising eyebrows as sparks flew between them.
