Malin Andersson informed her followers “justice has been served,” after her ex-partner Tom Kemp was jailed for ten months after he admitted attacking her.
The body confidence advocate, who found fame on Love Island, announced the news to her 679,000 Instagram followers.
In a post shared to her grid, the 27-year-old, who was treated for a broken hand following the attack, opened up about the last two years of “hell” and urged victims of domestic abuse to inform the police.
“The last 2 years including my pregnancy have been absolute hell. No one knows half of what I’ve gone through and I haven’t been able to say much due to an ongoing police investigation,” she began.

“The father of my late daughter Consy has been jailed for only part of what he has done to me.”
She added: “I’ll be giving my account of what happened in the coming week. Thank you for those that supported me, and those that called me a liar.
“I am here to tell you – you can go to the police!”

Kemp was jailed for ten months after he admitted assault occasioning actual bodily harm as he appeared at Aylesbury Crown Court on Thursday 3 September.
The pair started dating in January 2018 after meeting on a night out.
Malin previously opened up about feeling ready for romance again following her relationship with Kemp.

In her exclusive OK! online column, Malin explained: “It took quite a while for me to open myself up to love again because initially after leaving the domestic abusive relationship I was in, I had to really build myself back up again.
“Everything he stripped me of, I had to work my way back up. He took away my self-worth, confidence, he gave me self-doubt, he made me feel a certain way about how I looked, my work, he stripped me of my friends and more.
“I had to cut the chords and detach myself from him and that was the hardest part. It’s like a drug addiction in a sense.”
