Madonna says she's 'going for a drive to breathe in Covid-19 air' in bizarre vid

Madonna has announced she already has coronavirus antibodies after recently getting tested.

The 61-year-old songstress, who branded the life-threatening bug ‘the great equalizer’, revealed her health woes during an Instagram video, called Quarantine Diaries No 14, posted to the platform on Thursday.

“I took a test the other day. I found out that I have the antibodies,” she said.

“So tomorrow, I’m just going to go for a long drive in a car and I’m going to roll down the window, and I’m going to breathe in the Covid-19 air.”

Antibody tests were created to determine whether a person has been exposed to the virus.

The singer made the claims after taking a test, but didn’t specify if she had suffered from any Covid-19 symptoms.

It still remains unclear if those antibodies prove immunity against contracting the infection again

The singing sensation recently landed herself in hot water after she made a question remark about the bug, calling it “the great equalizer” while being filmed in a marble bath tub.

Addressing the pandemic in the video, she insisted coronavirus doesn’t care about social status or “how funny you are”.

She said: “That’s the thing about COVID-19. It doesn’t care about how rich you are, how famous you are, how funny you are, how smart you are, where you live, how old you are, what amazing stories you can tell.

“It’s the great equalizer and what’s terrible about is it what’s great about it.

“What’s terrible about it is that it’s made us all equal in many ways and what’s wonderful about is, is that it’s made us all equal in many ways.

“Like I used to say at the end of human nature every night, if the ship goes down, we’re all going down together.”

Following a tidal wave of criticism, she swiftly deleted the post.
