Max George's dramatic Strictly makeover after he's 'Tangoed' during fake tanning

Strictly Come Dancing star Max George joked he had been “Tangoed” after a fake tanning session.

The show’s stars all lined up to get their bodies bronzed before they took to the stage ahead of this evening’s first show.

The Wanted star, 32, videoed himself in the tanning booth, looking fetching in a hairnet, while he was sprayed.

He said: “So I’m getting a Strictly spray tan. First time I’ve ever had to wear one of these. Socially distanced spray tan of course.”

In the video Max showed off the effects as he pulled down his pants to show off his tan lines.

He joked: “Warm in London isn’t it. Look at those tan lines. Three minutes that took. Stay inside kids!”

The next morning Max posted another video of himself waking up and looking more tanned that he could’ve imagined and joking that joke about looking like he’d been “Tangoed” and performing the Tango as his first competitive dance.

He said: “Very excited. Although I’m not sure too if I actually need to turn up as I feel like I’ve already been Tangoed.”

The singer performed his dance with his partner Dianne Buswell to Best Fake Smile by James Bay on tonight’s show.

Other stars who also competed tonight were EastEnders star Maisie Smith, former Home Secretary Jacqui Smith and actress Caroline Quentin.
