Television beauty Maya Jama has revealed that she turned to God when she was younger as she wanted to increase the size of her bust.
The 25-year-old star has since gone on to develop her signature curves and has said she felt the Lord was “listening”.
Maya has been forced to defend her famous figure in recent weeks after cruel trolls slammed her “revealing” outfits while hosting Peter Crouch’s Save Our Summer on BBC One.
The Bristol beauty slammed critics on Twitter after some viewers of the primetime Saturday night show accused her of making them feel “awkward” due to her outfit choices.
But it appears that Maya has not always been so blessed in the bust department.

During a candid chat on the TTYA Talks podcast, Maya revealed she asked God for bigger breasts when she was in school.
She explained: “I used to pray, ‘Can I grow t**s’ and I grew them.
“So I thought, ‘Oh my gosh — he’s listening’.”
Maya went on the explain how she used to scrape money together when she was a student and is now enjoying the rewards of her shining career.
Stormzy’s ex said: “I was bumping trains. I used to get super dressed up and be like, ‘Oh my God, I’ve forgotten my Oyster’ and blag my way through the train station.
“I used to wear outfits and then take them back. I did all the tricks to make it appear like I had money. I had nothing so I was more determined to make it.”
She added: “Now I’ve just moved into my house. I’m the first person in my immediate family to own a house.
“I’m proud of myself for buying a house in London, which seems like an impossible task.”

Maya made her television presenting debut back in 2014 and has since gone on to host glitzy ceremonies such as EE BAFTA Awards, MOBO Awards.
The beauty also had success as a BBC Radio One presenter but she quit her role earlier this year to pursue a career in acting.
Her debut project as an actress has been put on hold due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
Maya explained: “I was supposed to be filming my first film. We had to push it back because of lockdown.
“It’s supposed to be filmed in the Caribbean, somewhere secret.”
“I always wanted to act, but I became a presenter first so it just got pushed to the back a little bit.”
