Meghan Markle reportedly got all nostalgic as she celebrated her Prince Harry’s birthday ahead of their LA move.
The Duchess of Sussex, 38, reportedly went all-out to mark Harry’s 35th birthday in September by bringing their romance-filled trip to Africa to their very own back garden.
Harry took Meghan on a vacay to Botswana back in 2016 at the origins of the pair’s relationship, and the Suits actress reportedly wanted to recreate that special holiday for him.
According to People.com, Meghan went above and beyond to recapture the moment, from securing the same tents, to identical sleeping bags.
A source claimed to the media outlet: “Last year, for Harry’s birthday, Meghan recreated their Botswana camping adventures in their backyard.
“It’s a place that means so much to them – and to Harry in particular – so Meghan wanted to bring that happy place to him on his day so she set up a tent, got sleeping bags, cooked dinner and recreated Botswana where they fell in love.”
Harry asked Meghan on the incredible trip after the duo had reportedly only had two dates, and it’s thought that special vacation was where the pair first truly fell for each other.

An source told the site: “They love to do their own take on traditional wedding gifts.
“The first anniversary was paper, and Meghan wrote out the wedding speech and had it framed for him…
“This year, they both gave each other gifts based on ‘cotton.’ Undoubtedly, it was a very creative and romantic gesture as all their gifts are to one another.”
