Michelle Visage became a British household name after she took her seat on RuPaul’s Drag Race, before increasing her celebrity status further, with appearances on Celebrity Big Brother and Strictly Come Dancing.
And it seems like she has made friends with one of the industry’s most outspoken names along the way.
Speaking exclusively to Daily Star Online, Michelle has opened up about her unlikely friendship with fellow CBB star Katie Hopkins.
Michelle said she instantly took a liking to Katie – much to the surprise of her fellow housemates.
And after befriending former The Apprentice star on the show back in 2015, Michelle said that there was only one scene that she wished had been aired.
She divulged: “I was really honest about my time in Big Brother, I’d been a fan of the show which is why I wanted to do it.
“I wanted to bring attention to the drag community and I wanted to get a British drag race made, which was the only reason I did that show.”
She continued: “The only thing I did that didn’t get aired was [me] confronting Katie Hopkins on her behaviour, that’s the only thing that didn’t get aired that I wish did.

“There was an argument I had with Hopkins where I confronted her on her bulls**t behaviour, even though we were friends in there.
“I thought towards the end she started doing things that were a little bit suspect to me and I called her out on it and they didn’t show that I wish that could’ve aired.”
Michelle once said that Katie had won the hearts of the nation over and changed their opinion following her stint in the Borehamwood house.

However, their friendship came to an end after Michelle called Katie out for her views on depression.
Katie once aired her thoughts on the numbers of people with depression rapidly increasing in her Daily Mail column, before taking to Twitter in 2016 saying: “Once getting out of bed becomes an achievement, you’ve set the bar pretty damn low.”
Michelle hit back, tweeting: “Until you’re a parent of a seriously depressed child, then it’s a bloody celebration. YOU KNOW NOT WHAT YOU SPEAK OF.

“They are NOT to be looked down upon or made less of what they are. KIDS ARE KILLING THEMSELVES, IT’S A F***ING EPIDEMIC THAT NEEDS ATTENTION.
“YES this is an over-diagnosed, over-medicated society but that does NOT mean depression isn’t real or debilitating!!”
Speaking exclusively to Daily Star Online about her friendship with Michelle, Katie said: “Michelle and I were the best of friends in the house and got on like a house on fire.
“So much so, we met up and spent time together after filming was over. It’s so great that we share the same approach to life.”
The 51-year-old singer recently launched her own BBC Three show, How’s Your Head, Hun? featuring guests such as Jade Thirlwall and Susannah Constantine.
