Miley Cyrus has taken to social media to pen a long tribute to her grandmother Loretta Finley after she tragically passed away.
In a series of emotional messages shared online, Miley explained how she will miss her for the rest of her life.
Taking to Twitter, the Wrecking Ball singer wrote: “Even though you are gone…. nothing has or ever will change.
“You will forever be my inspiration and fashion icon.
“Even more than that the ultimate model of being a true light in a dark world. You are sunshine.”
Miley continued: “Everyday I wake and see that fiery ball in the sky I will see your face.

“Then say a prayer thanking heaven above for giving me the best grandmother a girl could ever be gifted. I will miss you for the rest of my life…
“I will keep your spirit here by continuing to do good for others and treating them the way we all desire to be treated. With an infinite amount of the same gentle kindness you displayed daily. We will ache everyday you are not with us.”

Minutes later Miley posted a clip of her Grandma on a red carpet with her to her 44million fans.
After her Grandmother told a reporter she should be called “Mammie” a young Miley added: “Oh she is the fiercest person I know, that’s all I know, she is my inspiration and my fashion icon.”
In November 2013 Miley got a large tattoo of her grandma on her forearm.
Posing a snap of the ink which was done by pal and tattooist to the stars Kat Von D, Miley wrote: “Because I am her favourite and she is mine.”
Last week Miley made her music comeback with new single Midnight Sky.
The track samples Stevie Nicks’ 1982 hit Edge of Seventeen.
The song is the lead single from her anticipated seventh album, She Is Miley Cyrus.
