Miley Cyrus wowed fans with her iconic VMAs performance as she recreated her iconic Wrecking Ball music video.
The 27-year-old took to the stage for the 2020 awards ceremony post lockdown, and she certainly dropped jaws in a steamy outfit as she mounted a giant disco ball.
Miley sizzled as she performed her brand new single Midnight Sky, driving fans wild with desire as she sang.
The blonde bombshell looked incredible as she donned a sexy black two-piece, her toned pins on display in the revealing outfit.
Nearing the end of her red-hot performance, the global star climbed onto a massive disco ball, referencing her steamy 2013 video in which she mounted a heavy rock attached to a chain.

Wrecking Ball was said to be about Miley’s ex husband Liam Hemsworth, and now Cyrus has confirmed Midnight Sky was inspired by their divorce in 2019.
She told SiriusXM it was more about the stigma of divorce and relationship failure, explaining: “Actually in ‘Midnight Sky,’ one of the lyrics that I’d ask everyone to kind of consider and kind of think about for themselves is the idea of ‘forever and ever, no more’
“You know, you asked me to kind of explain briefly what my song is about. And I think it’s my relationship with the stigma. That ‘forever,’ if it’s not successful or if you claimed something to be forever and you fail, then you’re a failure.”
Her new hit not only touches on why her marriage ended, but also seems to speak of her relationship with Kaitlynn Carter soon after.

Fans adored Miley’s aesthetic parallel, and many remarked on how it was intended to celebrate the Hannah Montana star’s growth.
One said: “HELLO CAN WE TALK ABOUT GROWTH. Wrecking Ball= Crying and mourning the end of a relationshipMidnight Sky= Self Love and Self Empowerment . Accepting the end of said relationship.”

While another wrote: “Miley reclaiming the wrecking ball, taking back the narrative from the public, giving a sense of nostalgia with growth.. that’s iconic.”
“MILEY WENT FROM WRECKING BALL TO DISCO BALL… THE GROWTH”, gushed a third.
Miley recently confirmed she had split from Cody Simpson after the pair were together for ten months.
She addressed the break up during an Instagram live stream on Thursday, telling fans both she and Cody were going to “work on” themselves during their time apart.
