She said: “For people saying that 25 names in a generator isn’t fair. We literally spent all week brainstorming the best way to pick.

“There was no software or app that would allow me to put in two million (I repeat two million) Instagram comments without logging in with my Insta password, which I would never do.

“Let’s just all be happy for the winner please. It’s only a light-hearted giveaway.”

Last week the star quit Twitter after she received nasty abuse from users, responding to her £8,000 giveaway.

As she announced the giveaway on social media, a number of cruel trolls started slamming the project, mocking the former reality star.

In response to the backlash, Molly-Mae wrote: “£10 to any boy that’s not tweeted ‘£10 to any girl that’s not entered Molly-Mae’s giveaway’….. terms and conditions apply x.”

She then took to Instagram to open up about the trolling, making it clear her feelings had been hurt by the unnecessary backlash.

Molly Mae’s representatives were contacted by Daily Star Online but declined to comment.
