Singer Perrie Edwards has admitted that she cried “like she got proposed to” when her best pal Leigh-Anne Pinnock broke her happy news to the Little Mix gals.
The Little Mix songstress opened up on her tearful reaction to Capital FM’s Roman Kemp, Sonny Jay and Sian Welby this morning.
Perrie openly sobbed when her bandmate announced her news in the Little Mix group chat to reveal that Andre had popped the question after four years of dating.
But the girls should hold back on buying a second hat and fancy outfit as Perrie has ruled out any upcoming nuptials for her and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

While launching the Global’s Make Some Noise Emergency Appeal on the famous breakfast show, Perrie said: “As soon as she texted our group chat and was like ‘girls’ we just knew. We were like ‘oh my god it’s happened!’
“And I sobbed like literally cried my eyes out like I’d been proposed to!”
The Break Up Song hitmaker went on to add: “Because I was just so happy, she deserves the world and they are such a lovely couple, and I just felt so over the moon, like, can’t wait for the wedding, excited for her to plan it, it’s just amazing!”

However, Perrie has said that she isn’t ready for her Liverpool footballer boyfriend Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain to get down on one knee, despite “the pressure being on”.
Perrie also insisted that the pressure is well and truly on for the Little Mix boyfriends after Andre pulled off a show-stopping proposal.

When quizzed about her own relationship with Liverpool midfielder Oxlade-Chamberlain and whether the pair would be tying the not any time soon Perrie said: “Everyone keeps saying that! Everyone keeps saying ‘the pressure’s on!’ and I think that because Andre did such an amazing job.
“Like what an amazing proposal, the whole thing was just so well thought out and planned and it was beautiful, it was intimate.
“So all the boys are having Alex’s life now, like ‘ohhh!’ But we’re not ready for that year, we’re not ready for that yet, we’re letting them two enjoy it.”
