Phillip Schofield snaps at Alison Hammond before cutting her off on This Morning

This Morning presenter Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby were left frustrated on the show today as Alison Hammond did a segment for the latest kitchen gadgets during lockdown.

As the show ran out of time, Phillip repeatedly told Alison she only had a few seconds to wrap things up, but she appeared to not be able to hear him.

He was heard saying: “Alison you’ve got about 20 seconds… Alison you’ve got eight seconds, oh for God’s sake,” as she carried on talking.

He and Holly were forced to cut her off due to the show quickly running out of time, with Alison still talking about her sound was cut out.

Holly was seen saying: “Lovely to talk to you, bye Alison, bye…” as she was taken off the screen.

It didn’t appear that Alison could hear Phillip and Holly back in the studio

They then went to Loose Women presenter Christine Lampard, who also appeared to not be able to hear them in the ITV studio.

However, she sprang into action and eventually replied to the pair, leaving them both in giggles as the shows swapped over.

This wasn’t the only time the pair were left laughing during the show, as they got very relaxed while chatting to wellness expert Wim Hof.

Phillip lost his temper with Alison as he tried to get her attention

As he talked them through some breathing techniques, they both went into a meditative state while lying back on the studio sofa.

As the pair woke up, they both said how relaxed they felt, as they joked they felt “high”, as Wim replied: “That’s what I say during my classes, ‘get high on your own supply’.”

A red-faced Holly then said: “I don’t think I should be on the telly right now,” as the pair had to pull themselves together to carry on with the show.

Viewers took to social media to share their opinions on the exercises, as some were impressed while others were left very confused.

One fan posted: “Honestly hats off to Phil and Holly because I can’t stop laughing at this guy. How can someone relax with his booming voice.”

Another added: “Why is it so entertaining watching Holly and Phillip doing breathing exercises?”

This Morning continues tomorrow at 10am on ITV.
