Piers Morgan has hit out at trolls after he was issued with a threat from angry Good Morning Britain viewers.
Piers, 55, is set to return to GMB tomorrow alongside Susanna after their summer break.
The outspoken TV host took to Twitter before jokingly warning the trolls they face being banned from watching GMB with him and Susanna Reid ever again.
Posting to his 7.6 million followers, Piers wrote: “Memo to all trolls telling me they will not watch @GMB when I return tomorrow: if you carry out your threat, you’re banned from ever watching @GMB again. Final warning.”
Despite guiding the ITV breakfast show to record ratings, some people have slammed Piers for his no-nonsense style of interviewing.

Over the past few months alone he’s regularly savaged the government for their apparent boycott of the show.
Piers and Susanna have been on a planned summer break from the show with the likes of Ben Shepherd and Charlotte Hawkins stepping in to host the show in the meantime.
In June it was revealed that Ofcom received nearly 700 complaints in a week by angry GMB viewers of Piers’ antics.

Many of these were linked to his live interview with MP Andrew Bridgen in which he was accused of ‘humiliating’ the politician.
His heated clash with former New York mayor and friend of Donald Trump Rudy Giuliani picked up 271 complaints alone making it the most complained about segment to date.

The same month GMB celebrated it’s best month ever in terms of ratings.
Gleefully announcing the news on his social media, Piers posted: “BREAKING: Good Morning Britain had its highest ever ratings yesterday: 27% audience share, peaking at 32%.
“The longer the Govt boycotts us, the more people are tuning in. We’ll keep challenging them in their cowardly absence. Thank you for watching!”
Good Morning Britain airs weekdays on ITV at 6am
