Good Morning Britain star Piers Morgan sent a heartfelt message of condolence to Liz Hurley today after hearing reports her ex Steve Bing has tragically taken his own life.
Hollywood producer Steve is the father of Liz’ son Damian. He was just 55-year-old when he was found dead near his home in Los Angeles.
According to publication Variety, police and the coroner’s office said a man fitting his age fell from a Century City apartment building on Monday. Sources told TMZ he had been suffering from depression.
Looking pensive, Piers, 55, recalled a personal memory of Steve – highlighting the fact that just because someone seems happy on the outside doesn’t mean they are.

Piers said: “I had massive a run in with him in The Mirror when he denied he was the father and the press went for him.
“It got sorted out in court.
“He was extremely rich and extremely respected in Hollywood.
“He used to live in a hotel suite he was that rich.
“He seemed to have a good time but whatever was going on clearly is a different story.”

By early 2000s he was producing some of the biggest films in Hollywood including Sylvester Stallone hit Get Carter and Kangaroo Jack.
Bing self funded just shy of £80million for Tom Hanks animated hit The Polar Express.
