Piers Morgan posted a heartfelt Father’s Day tribute on social media today, but his fans were distracted by his “lookalike” dad.
The 55-year-old opinionated TV presenter, who is well-known for controversial rants on Good Morning Britain, has showed his softer side by sharing a lovely message to his father, Glynne.
He posted a collage on his Instagram page, showing snaps of his youthful dad alongside the likes of Rod Stewart, Miss World and himself.
However, fans were distracted as they couldn’t get over how much Piers’ father looked like the ITV host.

He captioned the post: “Some guys have all the luck… From gallivanting with Miss World & Sir Rod to guzzling Veuve at Lord’s… my Dad knows how to enjoy himself. Happy Father’s Day!”
Fans went into a frenzy in the comments section of the series of snaps, flooding the star and his dad with messages about how he looked more like his “brother” and not his father.
One said: “Sorry Piers but he looks like he could be your brother.”

Piers made headlines recently after he took another swipe at his his BBC Breakfast TV rival, Dan Walker.
